In October 2019 a new science museum opened on the premises of the Universalmuseum Joanneum - the CoSA. Here young people can experience ‘old findings’ as well as the ‘latest technical accomplishments’ in the field of natural sciences and carry out their own experiments and take part in interactive games. The exhibition shows natural scientific phenomena from several topic areas in an impressive and multifaceted way.

We worked on the areas of ‘Knowledge - the Cabinet of Knowledge’, ‘Man - Man-Lab’, ‘Technology - developing a car’ and ‘Energy - reflecting on climate, resources and sustainability through play’. Together with the designers and the team from the Children’s Museum we developed and made hands-on models and learnt a lot ourselves in the process! Who among us knew beforehand what a ‘Galton Board’ is or how a ‘line launcher’ really works? At any rate, the men and our workshop really enjoyed making the car collage ...
